Voting members include GSRs, Alternate GSRs (if the Primary GSR is absent), District Committee Members (DCMs), and CAA Officers and Subcommittee Chairs.

The DEI Advisory Committee of the Crystal Meth Anonymous General Service Office (GSO) hosts quarterly workshops around issues of diversity, equity, inclusion and access within the CMA fellowship. 

The mission of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Committee is to engage the fellowship widely on issues related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. We will listen, seek participation and input, and produce resources that support people of color, women, transgender people, and other historically marginalized groups. We will conduct ourselves transparently, aligned with the Traditions and Concepts of CMA.

The retreat will be held the weekend of Friday, April 10th through Sunday, April 12th 2026 at the Happy Valley Conference Center.  We will be offering a single-day registration, but due to the nature of the event and the conference center's need to plan a menu, there will be no same-day registrations. 

Fundraising for the 2026 retreat has generated $2,500 to support newcomer scholarships, which will be available on a first come, first served basis. Our online registration will open no later than December 1, 2025.

The cost per person to attend the retreat is:

• $270 for a full weekend in a shared cabin ($75 with a newcomer scholarship)

• $210 for a full weekend in the participant's own tent ($60 with a newcomer scholarship) 

• $100 for a Saturday day pass ($35 with a newcomer scholarship)

A full weekend at the retreat includes five meals; a day pass for Saturday only includes three.

Happy Valley Conference Center is located in the mountains between Santa Cruz and Scotts Valley, approximately three miles from downtown Santa Cruz. Redwoods and Ferns cover most of the 73 acres of property. Settled in a semi-rural community, the atmosphere is secluded and peaceful.
