The NorCal CMA H&I committee has been flooded with requests from facilities to host CMA meetings in their facilities. We have a waiting list for locations in San Francisco, Sacramento, San Jose, and Santa Cruz but we need a minimum of four volunteers per facility before we can add a new facility to the schedule.
Many times, an H&I meeting is the first introduction to Crystal Meth Anonymous that many inmates, clients, or patients receive. Therefore, it is important that the message of recovery through the Twelve Steps be informative, clear, concise, positive, and solution oriented.

If you are interested in joining our committee, or would like more information on how the DEI Committee serves the community, please email our chair at dei@norcalcma.org.
In the coming weeks and months, the DEI committee will be conducting an inventory of the NorCalCMA fellowship that will help us to identify ways in which our groups have navigated challenges around issues of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. In addition to this important survey, we will also be conducting a fellowship listening session in April. More details to come.
The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee of NorCAL CMA has collected these inclusivity statements from across the fellowship of Crystal Meth Anonymous. We’d like to offer this as a resource for your meeting in case you would like to add one of these to your meeting script. Feel free to use these statements as is, or adapt to the needs and group conscience of your meeting.
If you would like to announce it at your meeting, here is a potential script:
The Norcal CMA DEI Committee has added an inclusivity statement resource that our group might want to implement. If you think this would be a nice addition to our meeting and would like to hear more about it, please come to the next business meeting or talk to me after the meeting.
